Skål! You may call me Casey Kon, my pronouns are they/them. I hail from the east, the first state Delaware. As long as I can remember I’ve always been a heathen, a nomad, and a rebel. I think my dad instilled a lot of this in me. By letting me wear leather jackets, riding motorcycles, and listing to heavy metal. My mom wasn’t too pleased about it. But it shaped me into who I am today. Fearless, brave and courageous.
All throughout high school my life was music. Hard, fast, and loud is how we played. But sadly the lifestyle and singing started to take a toll on my voice and mental health. This is where art saved me and gave me this new chapter. I buckled down and got serious about my work. I studied at the Delaware College of Art and Design in Wilmington, and graduated with an associate's degree in illustration and graphic design.
After I graduated I went straight into my tattoo apprenticeship. Which was 2 long hard years of bitch work and hazing from scary ass bikers before I could even touch a tattoo machine. But I wanted to learn from the best because tattooing to me is such a sacred art form. I want to thank my mentors Kristopher Dilworth and Ben Sellman for everything they have taught me and for giving me this badass life.
I’ve been tattooing now for about 6 years, and I’d say my art style is heavily influenced by psychedelic surrealism, sacred geometry, illustration, black work and stippling, neo traditional, Japanese, and anything relating to the occult. My free time is usually spent riding my bike, EDM concerts, traveling, camping, bone collecting, photography, and practicing pagan magic.
